Reviews Stardew Valley 4 reviews - average rating 9,8Addictive freedom and relaxation in retro style Stardew Valley on the Nintendo Switch is an extensive farming sim. It’s a relaxing and especially addictive game suitable for just about everyone. You inherit your own farm and embark on an adventure filled with farming, mining, fishing, social interactions, and even romance.
What makes this game special is the freedom. You can focus on what you enjoy: growing crops, caring for animals, expanding your home, or discovering the secrets of the village. The Switch version enhances the experience even further thanks to the handheld mode, allowing you to play briefly wherever and whenever you like. Lovely! The controls feel intuitive, both in handheld mode and on the TV. Read more...
The game features a fantastic retro pixel art style, which perfectly matches the relaxed atmosphere. The graphics are sharp and colourful. The environments are also diverse and invite exploration. The soundtrack mainly consists of soothing music and ambient sounds, which further immerses you in the relaxed vibe.
One minor downside is that the interface can sometimes be a bit clunky on the Switch, especially when selecting items. The passage of time in the game can also feel a bit too swift at times, but once you’re engrossed in the game, you’ll likely manage it well and can plan your days and activities effectively.
All in all, Stardew Valley is a fantastic experience for the Switch, perfect for long gaming sessions or quick moments in between while on the train. It offers an enormous amount of content, with plenty of depth and personal freedom. With this gem, you’ll be happily occupied for ages! Hide. Cijfer:

Incredibly versatile gameplay with endless activities Stardew Valley is a simulation game for the Nintendo Switch. It follows the story of your own little character who comes to live on your late grandfather's run-down farm. For me, it was a wonderful experience to gradually rebuild the farm and see everything flourish.
In Stardew Valley, besides taking care of farm matters, you can also spend your day in other ways. You can fish, explore the mines, and unravel the various mysteries that Pelican Town has to offer. I find this an incredibly enjoyable way to play because each day is different in Stardew Valley. Discovering new places and finding rare items in the mines gives a sense of adventure that I really appreciate. Read more...
Additionally, you can build relationships with the villagers, each of them being unique. There's a character for every stereotype. The more you talk to characters and/or give them gifts, the better your relationship with that character becomes, earning you more hearts with them. There are even a few single villagers you can marry if that's where your interest lies. For me, this social aspect makes the game extra special and adds a personal touch to it.
Stardew Valley knows exactly when to introduce new elements to the game. There's always something new to discover, keeping the game never boring in my opinion. The seasonal events and festivals provide additional variety and keep the gameplay fresh and engaging.
In conclusion, do I recommend Stardew Valley? Yes, yes, yes! Stardew Valley is incredibly good. There's so much to do that the game can provide hundreds of hours of gameplay. If you haven't tried Stardew Valley yet, it's definitely worth a shot! Hide. Cijfer:

You can build relationships with the villagers, uncover the secrets of Pelican Town, explore the mines while fighting monsters, fish... There's also a lot to collect.
