Sometimes yes, sometimes no... There have been many different Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Third Party versions released over time. This makes writing a review about the controller a real challenge.
One thing all Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Third Party versions have in common is that the controller always feels very cheap. Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Third Party versions are manufactured very cheaply, so that's no surprise. Often, the controllers have other issues. Think of problems with connecting, buttons that respond too late, or a poor battery.
That's why I only recommend the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Third Party when there are no other options available. Controllers from Hori, PowerA & PDP are much more reliable, and not too expensive either.

Affordable option The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Third Party doesn't differ much from the original, except that the response time can lag a bit, which is common. The controller also feels slightly cheaper. The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Third Party is especially recommended for long gaming sessions and works perfectly for 3D games. Overall, the controller does what it's supposed to do and is more affordable than the original. A must-have if you're a heavy gamer!
