Super fun must-have co-op
New Super Mario Bros U. Deluxe is a remake and combination of the Wii U games "New Super Mario Bros. U" and "New Super Luigi U". If you already have these games on the Wii U, everything will be practically the same, but for those who skipped the Wii U, this is a must-have for the Switch.
One of the differences from the Wii U version are the new characters Toadette and Nabbit. These two new characters make the game more accessible for new/young players. Both characters have an extra "power", making the game a bit easier. Especially Nabbit is really intended for young players.

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is a 2D platformer. In the game, you play as one of the 5 Mario characters (Mario, Luigi, Toad, Toadette, and Nabbit). The game can be played locally with up to 4 players. You travel through a variety of worlds. Each world has its own theme and a set of levels (quantity varies per world). The final level of a world is a mini boss, which you must defeat to move on to the next world.
The game also includes the expansion New Super Luigi U as standard. This version is separate from the main story. You go through the same worlds, but with different levels.
Unfortunately, the game does not support online gameplay.
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is great for hours of fun, both alone and with your friends. Playing with four people creates a good chaotic game, where you can help each other or get in each other's way. The game also offers hours of content, with a total of 164 levels! And even if you complete all levels, you can still aim to collect all star coins. It's a super fun co-op game for different ages! Hide. Cijfer:

Lazy move by Nintendo but still a great game!
I don't understand why they brought New Super Mario Bros. U to the Switch instead of a completely new Mario Bros. game, because the game is essentially New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U in one game with some extra challenges. It's just a copy of the Wii U version really, which is very unfortunate. Nintendo was just lazy, as they often are. But it's still a great Mario Bros. game with lots of original elements, such as new level themes, the Squirrel Suit, Nabbit, and much more. Additionally, the boss fights are very enjoyable and there is a lot of variety in the levels. It's a shame it's not a new Mario Bros., but it's a fantastic game!New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe Cijfer:

A fantastic game if you haven't played a Mario Bros. game before
This game, like most Super Mario Bros. games, is a fun game to play. I wouldn't recommend buying it though if you already have other versions of Mario Bros. This game is a combination of Mario Bros. and Luigi Bros. from the Wii U. Mario Bros. games are often not very different and usually have similar levels and ideas. So if you've played another Mario Bros. game, I wouldn't buy it.
If it's your first Mario Bros. game, it's definitely worth it! The levels are always enjoyable, especially in multiplayer.
The Wii version will always be my favorite New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe game, but this one is certainly not bad. Cijfer:

Not much of a difference...
If you've played New Super Mario Bros. U on the Wii U, you won't find much new in this game, as there are very few changes. Some small fun additions have been made, and New Super Luigi U is included, which wasn't the case with the Wii U version. Back then, you had to buy a bundled version. In short, if you haven't played this game or its predecessor, I recommend New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. Cijfer:

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is the remake of the Wii U game of the same name. The Switch version also includes Luigi U and 2 new characters Toadette and Nabbit.
These 2 characters serve as a sort of easy mode for the game, so definitely handy if this game is going to be played by young children.

There isn't much difference between this game and the Wii U version, so I wouldn't recommend it if you already had this game on the Wii U.

Nibbit is too strong
It's a fun game, but when you're Nibbit, the game becomes a bit too easy. Nibbit is too powerful to be used. Nibbit can only die by the Void, so there's not really a challenge.
Furthermore, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is quite enjoyable, it's Mario so there's not much to complain about! Cijfer:

Nostalgia
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch brings the familiar Mario platforming experience to a new audience (people who didn't own a Wii U).
Despite some added content, I feel the game still maintains the fun and challenge of the Wii U version.

On the character selection screen, make sure you have Yellow Toad selected. Before you press A, hold down the L button. Now you can play as Blue Toad! Secrets: How do you disable the Mid-Air Spin in New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe? In the Wii U version of New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe, you could perform a Spin in mid-air using a dedicated button.
