Another great sports game from Nintendo!
Mario Tennis Aces is a fun tennis game for the Nintendo Switch. Personally, I'm not a big fan of tennis, but Nintendo always manages to make it exciting, just like with this game. From power-ups to traps, everything is back in the game. There's also a story mode featuring Mario and his friends. Wario and Waluigi have stolen a special tennis racket, and it's up to you to stop them!! You'll visit all sorts of special places, from a forest to a haunted house. Additionally, there's online play to enjoy with all your friends. There's even a game mode where you have to use the controller like a tennis racket, just like the good old days!! In short, another excellent sports game from Nintendo! Cijfer:

Hidden Gem with Deep Controls and Versatile Modes
Is it strange if I call a Mario game a hidden gem? I actually didn’t realise this game existed for quite a while. What strikes me is that the reviews are quite mixed.
It’s really easy to pick up and play, but the controls are quite deep. You can just have a bit of fun with the family on the sofa, with the occasional hilarious or amazing super shot. But you can also use various button combinations to pull off cool tricks, freeze time, and really pay attention to your timing to make better shots.
There are loads of modes, including an adventure mode as a bonus. A very complete Mario game that, in my opinion, hasn’t received enough attention: Mario Tennis Aces. Cijfer:

Had more potential.
Mario Tennis Aces is a fun game in itself, but I don't understand why they made a separate game out of it, as it has the same issue I had with the Wii U version. Besides playing tennis, there isn't much else to do. They should have made a sports game like Mario Sports Mix on the Wii with multiple sports in one game. But well, nothing can be done about it now. Nevertheless, the game is put together nicely. The way of playing tennis with power-ups is enjoyable and adds a lot. There is also an online multiplayer, a co-op mode, and a wide selection of playable characters. It's definitely not a bad game, but it's just too little for a full game. Cijfer:
