Versatile horror platformer with high replay value
Halloween & Ash vs Evil Dead Retro Realms for the Nintendo Switch is in my opinion a hugely entertaining game with plenty of replay value. If you're a fan of Halloween or Evil Dead, then this game is a fantastic choice. It’s a simple platformer but with a fun twist. You can unlock upgrades for each of the four playable characters: Ash, Michael Myers, Lori Strode, and Kelly. These upgrades make each character unique and add an extra layer of depth to the game.
The levels become increasingly challenging as you progress, which gave me a satisfying feeling. What’s really cool is that you can play as Evil Dead characters in the Halloween levels and vice versa. This creates a fun mix of both franchises and keeps the gameplay fresh and interesting. It’s a clever way to engage and surprise fans of both series.
All in all, Halloween and Ash vs Evil Dead Retro Realms is a successful game that will definitely appeal to both horror and platforming enthusiasts.
