Hades is a stunning game with an intriguing setting and really great music. Each time you try to escape from the underworld, the rooms look different. The more you play (and die), the better you get at recognizing the attack patterns and how to deal with them. The game is challenging but fair. If you die, it's because you weren't paying attention or played too recklessly. A very good roguelike! Cijfer:

Challenging yet addictive
Hades is such a delightful game to get lost in for a while. The world in which the game takes place is based on the underworld from Greek mythology, so familiar characters like Aphrodite and Achilles make appearances. There are endless combinations of weapons, power-ups (called "boons"), and other enhancements to your fighting style possible, keeping the game varied. Highly recommended, especially if you enjoy a challenge. Cijfer:

Challenging, rewarding, and above all, incredibly fun
Hades is an incredibly challenging game. It's a "Roguelike" game where you gradually get a little better each time. Don't be afraid to die, because you can't escape it anyway.
Hades works really well on the Switch, the style of the game doesn't require too much processing power from the Switch and works very smoothly in handheld mode.
The entire game is very well put together and feels very extensive. Every interaction with the underworld is new, and no conversation is the same. The music, voice acting, and humor incorporated into the game are a very pleasant surprise. Cijfer:

If you're going to play Hades, I recommend always going for the Daedalus hammers and Chthonic keys.
With those keys, you can unlock weapons, troves (chests that you can open), and the Mirror of the Night abilities (the mirror in your room). With those abilities and weapons, you'll be much stronger and can defeat enemies more easily!
The Daedalus hammers provide you with the most powerful upgrades and can only be found in two areas: Elysium and Tartarus. So never give up the Daedalus hammers for another reward!
