2 tips: 2 SecretsSecrets:
How can you unlock secret playable characters in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes?
After you've completed Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes for the first time, these characters will each cost 60 renown points. You can purchase Rhea and Sothis right away, but for Arval, you'll need to finish the game after recruiting Byleth.
Gatekeeper is the last playable character, and you'll need to complete all three routes to unlock him. Start your first route, then continue on the same save file with a New Game+, playing one of the other two routes, and then start another New Game+ to tackle the final route.
In chapter 5 of your third playthrough, Gatekeeper will join your army.
Secrets:
How can you recruit Byleth in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes?
If you see the warning "Your actions in this battle will greatly impact the outcome of the story" at the start of a mission, you know it's time to recruit Byleth in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.
Scarlet Blaze (Chapter 10):
Use the Resonant Lightning strategy. Without this strategy, you won't be able to recruit Byleth. Make sure you DO NOT fight with Byleth, even if Arval says otherwise. Also, ensure that none of your other units engage with Byleth. Defeat Alois as quickly as possible. Then quickly finish the mission by defeating Rodrigue.
Azure Gleam (Chapter 12):
Use the Locate Ambushers strategy. Make sure you don't fall into any ambushes. Defeat Fleche. Then take down Randolph before Byleth arrives. Again, DO NOT fight with Byleth, even if Arval insists.
Golden Wildfire (Chapter 10):
No strategy needed. Complete all side missions (except defeat Byleth), and then Claude will lure Byleth into a trap. Ensure that Byleth does not catch up to Claude. Defeat Fleche quickly before Byleth reaches her.
Once you've recruited Byleth, you'll unlock the secret ending of the game.
