One of the strong points of Endless Ocean Luminous is the freedom it offers. There’s no time pressure or enemies, which means you can enjoy the surroundings at your own pace. The addition of a multiplayer mode also makes it fun to explore together with friends.
Unfortunately, there’s not much else to experience. There’s no clear storyline and real specific goals are lacking, which can make the game feel a bit slow or repetitive at times. The emphasis is on exploration and enjoying the environment, which may not be for everyone.
All in all, Endless Ocean Luminous is a beautiful, soothing game for anyone who loves exploration and wants to experience the underwater world, but the lack of traditional gameplay features may disappoint some.
