An entertaining beat 'em up
Asterix & Obelix: Slap them All! is an entertaining 2D beat 'em up game. You play through various levels based on a number of stories from the comic books. The art style is quite fitting, resembling a comic book with corresponding graphics.
The combat is decent for what you can expect from this genre. Unfortunately, it's not always clear whether enemies have been defeated or not. Additionally, the hitbox for hitting enemies is peculiar, to say the least.
Despite these drawbacks, Asterix & Obelix: Slap them All! is still an enjoyable game. In my opinion, it's more fun for the fans than for a random player.
