It's not recommended. What I've written below is the only good thing about the game.
The best aspect of American Hero are the death scenes. If the player makes the wrong choices, Jack will die in numerous different ways. Using practical effects, you'll see the consequences of your bad choices play out in very funny ways. The dry, matter-of-fact manner in which these unfold is hilarious. For instance, if you fail to dodge a truck, you'll see a mannequin shaped like Jack being crushed by 18 wheels. Most of these deaths also come out of nowhere. In one example, a couple of criminals run towards you asking if you're Jack. You have the option to confess your identity or try to blame and lie.
